Music For Minors II Part-time Job Openings
The non-profit MFMII is growing and has the following part-time paid staff openings - flexible hours, work from home/ school/ community, attend monthly staff meeting via zoom. Help keep music alive in our schools!
Event Coordinator (EC) - FILLED
Coordinate workshops, family music nights, annual community concert / MFMII's Got Talent contest, winter holiday event, year end volunteer recognition event. Click here for a detailed job description.
Docent Training Coordinator (DTC) - FILLED
Create training schedule with the training teacher and DMM, contact presenters, organize class materials and help DTA with setup and take down of class, process docent trainee applications, coordinate orientation, create attendance spreadsheet, teach some class curriculum, confirm trainee placements, attend training classes, make phone calls from home, store/borrow training equipment from storage, attend monthly staff meetings. Docent Manager / Mentor (DMM) - FILLED
Communication/coordination for mentoring (docent sharing and workshops), producing, copying & organizing materials for docents, attend monthly staff meeting, observations of new/experienced docents, conduct research on music theory, information, standards, and useful tips to share with docents, attend training classes as needed, attend docent school performances, create lesson plans for docents, assist at Family Music Nights. The hours are very flexible according to your schedule and of course during this time of Covid all the work is done virtually. A music background is preferred. Docent Training Assistant Fremont (DTA) - FILLED
Assist with set-up/take down of training class, video recording, passing out instruments/props etc during fall docent training sessions in Fremont, if training is in person. If training is virtual tasks will include assisting in screen sharing in Zoom, taking attendance, posting homework in google classroom and uploading videos to Youtube. Click here for more details.
