MFMII's Got Talent - Season 2, 2024
|
The MFMII's Got Talent (MGT) 2024 contest received an overwhelming response with 100 signups this year, verifying how much children love music and are seeking a place to express their musical gifts.
The judging for MGT took place on March 11 by our esteemed judges: Barry Walter (musician and school presenter), Lori Moitie (MFMII Board President and children's entertainer), Kathy Kimberlin (President, Fremont Education Foundation) and Sharon Filippi (MFMII Administrative Assistant). The judges really had their work cut out for them this year! Awards and prizes were given to top winners in each category! Winners were announced at MFMII's Children's Showcase Concert on April 28. All MGT participants got a certificate, a small gift and a chance to win raffle prizes from our sponsors. Click here for the list of MGT Winners. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR SHINING STARS! Congrats to Saanvi from Parkmont for winning the keyboard in the raffle on prize pickup day. For more information about MGT email [email protected] |

Charlotte Diamond |
Charlotte Diamond is an award-winning, Canadian children’s entertainer, songwriter and friend of MFMII. She has been the headliner for many MFMII concerts and workshops in the past. Her music, as well as being lively and singable, inspires children to care for each other and to celebrate the diversity of our cultural mosaic with songs like “Leave the World a Little Better.” She is best known for favorites like: Four Hugs a Day, I am a Pizza (Je suis une pizza, Soy una Pizza) and Octopus (Slippery Fish). Charlotte’s concerts are fun for kids, but parents and grandparents will be captivated by her music as well. |
