Music for Minors II: Inspiring Young Musicians
Music for Minors II is dedicated to nurturing creativity, musicianship, and character in children through high-quality music education and performance opportunities. Known for its emphasis on joyful learning and community engagement, MFMII gives young singers a chance to grow not only as performers, but as confident, expressive individuals. Red Grammer: A Voice of Hope for Generations
For decades, Red Grammer has been one of the most respected and beloved artists in children’s and family music. A Grammy Award–winning songwriter and performer, Red Grammer is known for music that is thoughtful, uplifting, and deeply respectful of children’s emotional lives. His songs speak of kindness, peace, self-worth, and the importance of caring for one another - messages that resonate just as strongly with adults as they do with kids.
Songs like “I Think You’re Wonderful,” “Teaching Peace,” and “See Me Beautiful” have become classics in classrooms, homes, and concert halls around the world. Red Grammer’s music doesn’t talk down to children; instead, it invites them to see their own value and potential, encouraging empathy and hope through simple, beautifully crafted melodies.
MFMII has known and sponsored Red Grammer in countless concerts during the past 30+ years and would love to share this Grammy Nominee’s ongoing talent with another generation of children and parents. Acclaimed by parents everywhere, Red offers musical magic in his concerts and on his many award winning CDs for young and old alike. Don’t miss this unique event.

Charlotte Diamond Concert 2011
Music for Minors II was thrilled to present Charlotte Diamond in Concert on Friday, March 4th, 2011 at 7 pm. For the first time ever we performed in Castro Valley at the beautiful Castro Valley Center for the Arts on Redwood Road.
Charlotte Diamond is a renowned children’s recording artist who has been a loyal friend of MFMII since the early 1990’s and a strong advocate for quality music for children. Charlotte’s words, “the song is just the beginning of a life time of music,” capture her focus and passion for making this a better world for children through music.
Charlotte previewed her concert for us in an MFMII-sponsored music workshop on Wed. January 12th held in Fremont at Niles School. Charlotte’s workshop was outstanding as she invited all docents, classroom teachers and the community-at-large to experience the joy of her music and learn how to integrate it into school curriculum.
About 50 MFMII students had the thrill and unforgettable experience of performing with Charlotte onstage to an audience of over 500 people. What an absolutely wonderful concert we had with Charlotte Diamond in the fabulous Center for the Arts in Castro Valley! It was so gratifying to see an enthusiastic sold-out house thoroughly enjoying the incredible music and atmosphere created by this gifted performer! Charlotte made magic happen as she welcomed students and their docents to the stage to join her in singing and signing some songs. Charlotte left us glowing, with a song in our hearts, and looking forward to her next concert with MFMII.
See Charlotte's website to learn about her music and upcoming shows.

Red Grammer Concert 2010
What a great way to kick off the new year with one of MFMII’s best friends, RED GRAMMER! Our concert on Sat. Jan. 30th, 2010 was just “wonderful” as Red once again fully engaged the audience and especially parents on stage and off with his fun-filled songs.
Opening with his golden acapella version of “Over the Rainbow,” Red had us all mesmerized and captivated for the rest of the concert. One of the highlights of the show was when our fantastic docents joined the parents on stage with Red and took their important parts in Wimoweh!
Children were delighted with “Tickle” as they took great pleasure tickling their parents and friends right on beat. It was sheer joy to have this talented heartfelt artist with us who even sang requested songs to children as he autographed and took pictures with them.
Check out Red’s website to see great shots of children filled with joy.
