MFMII RECRUITMENT TEAM JOB DESCRIPTION
Recruitment Team (RT) Members are under the direction of the Recruitment Coordinator (RC) and responsible for supporting the MFMII Recruitment Plan to recruit community volunteers to become MFMII Docents. Members will also work with the Administrative Assistant (AA) and Docent Training Coordinator (DTC), to accomplish the goal of recruiting a minimum of 40 new trainees for the annual fall Docent Training classes.
1. Review current MFMII Recruitment Process & Plan and select option areas eg assist with MFMII music booths in the community and at school sites, flyer distribution / online publicity, music & movement sessions (creating flyers, signup form, publicity, presenters, agenda).
2. Keep accurate time sheets and submit them to the Program Manager by the 4th of the month.
3. Attend meetings called by the Recruitment Coordinator in the fall and spring or additional meetings when necessary.
4. Attend recruitment training sessions when necessary.
Compensation: $ 13.50 per hour
Activity will be done out of the home, in the schools and in the community.
Recruitment Team Opportunities
You will be responsible for talking to potential docents (parents and community members) about the MFMII's Docent Training classes and program of sharing weekly music lessons with more and more children. Your participation would be at booths/tables at:
School Events: Kindergarten Orientations, Walk-Through Registrations, Back to School Nights, MFMII’s Family Music Nights, Open Houses, Year-end Performances, PTA meetings, and other school events with good parent attendance.
Community Events eg Fremont Festival of the Arts (Aug), Newark Days (Sept), Art in the Park, Pre-School Faire; posting the training flyer in the community (libraries, coffee shops, schools etc)
Online Recruitment: Posting the training flyer online, sending the flyer to potential docents and inviting them to MFMII events/interactive booths.
