Workshop - Come and Build Connections through Rhythm!
Music for Minors II (www.musicforminors2.org)
presents an exciting, unique, and powerful drumming experience on
Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 7-9 pm. at Niles School Auditorium.
Percussionist and art therapist
JENI SWERDLOW, a dynamic and engaging facilitator, trainer, presenter,
and performer will present an interactive DRUMMM event that has
captivated thousands at hundreds of events in the United States and
abroad. Her playful attitude and innovative strategies inspire drumming
with freedom and confidence among diverse populations.
Come and build team-building and
develop bonds between each other. Parents, teachers, business people,
musicians, retirees, ages 18 and up are welcome and will find this
applicable in their lives.
All materials are provided and
you will leave with rhythm in your heart. Free to Music for Minors
II participants. For community members: $15.00 fee by Feb. 12 or $20.00

Showcase
for Children
MFMII
showcases children in spring 2010.
Music for MInors II presents Showcase
2010 on Friday, March 19th at 7:30 pm. at Harbor Light in Fremont.
This unique event will present over 300 children
in concert who receive music enrichment weekly from trained music
docents supported by MFMII. The concert is "The Beat Goes On"
and conveys the need and value of music in children's lives despite
budgetary cutbacks in the arts. Children from several school
districts that MFMII serves will unite in song for the familiar opening
and engaging closer and perform their special pieces as well.
It's a celebration of children and music and great

fun-filled and empowering organization so that MFMII can continue its
